Kazuki puffed out his cheeks as he was carried. What did this guy think he was? A stupid piece of luggage? Narrowing his eyes, he struggled in Ashura's grip before he growled. "I'm not food!" He yelled, glaring up at Ashura before he huffed and looked to the side. "I won't be telling you any time soon. And I don't even know what the hell an 'Asuran' is."

Ashura smiled, he was a king, and disagreeable subjects can always be bent around to his will. "You are food to me just as cattle is food to humans. You do not expect humans to call cows their bedfellow, would you?"

"You don't have to tell me any time soon," he said with a smile. "Just remember the longer you wait, the more hungry I will get, and I didn't have a full feed off you yet."

Listening to Ashura, Kazuki rolled his eyes before murmuring softly. Glancing up, he tensed slightly before he shook his head. "I won't let you feed off others. I don't care what you do to me. Others, no way in hell..."

"Ah, that is an interesting way of putting it," Ashura said calmly. He sat down on the bough of a large tree and scanned the ground around them. Asurans had good eyesight, since they were built for hunting. "Your path to the trap was not exactly subtle."

It would not lead all the way to the camp, Ashura knew, but he also knew humans had this strange habit of going out and looking for missing people. As if the missing person didn't have legs and would come back if they were able. And if they weren't, there was no point going out for a corpse. "We will wait here."

Slowly relaxing, Kazuki looked around as Ashura sat down on the branch. Looking down at the ground, he puffed out his cheeks. Glaring up at him, he murmured something under his breath before he struggled in his grip. "Let me go. I have to go and find my sister."

"You have a sibling?" Ashura put one hand on Kazuki's shoulder, keeping the boy in his lap as they sat in the tree. "Tell me about being siblings. I had a half-sibling once."

He smiled. It was full of malice.

"Yes, and she was kidnapped." Kazuki growled, struggling against Ashura as his hands pushed on his chest. "You should know enough. A half sibling is enough to a sibling as you can get without the blood link." He growled. "Now let go! I need to find her before something happens to her!"

"How long ago was this kidnapping?" Ashura said, still in his exasperatingly calm way. It wasn't hard to keep hold of the human, but if he struggled much more, the Asuran King did consider letting go. But this was fun as well. He loved the expression of frustration on that youthful face. Not that his own looked all that much older, but he knew how old he was.

"And I ate my half-sibling, so we're closer than you think." His eyes flashed gold as he spoke, the smile still on his face.

"About two weeks ago. I won't give up till I find her..." He said softly, holding his hand down before he gave one more good jerk. Finding he couldn't get loose, he gave in and tensed up hearing Ashura. His body shook before he tried to get away again.

"Stop struggling," Ashura said eventually. It wasn't like he couldn't keep hold of Kazuki, but his prey might notice the tree shaking. He was more than amused by the young man's response to everything he had said. Perhaps humans were all this easy to fluster.

"He tasted good," the king said. "I gained his power as a result, and I am more complete in the end. Your world is very... compassionate, is it not?"

Glaring up at Ashura, Kazuki felt his cheeks burning up. Trying to pull himself away to at least move across the branch, his hands clenched into fists. "Your a sick mother fucker..." He murmured. Hearing the comment about being compassionate, he nodded.

"Yet there are other humans who put people to work, repaying them a price that is not in balance with their input, and call it a 'salary'. These demons of the race seem to me much worse than something like me." He smiled and tilted Kazuki's chin to stare into his eyes. "At least I tell you well ahead of time what I intend to do."

"I do not lie about it, because there is still pride in being an Asuran."

"We get jobs to live you idiot. We don't have jobs, we don't have money, we don't have money, we can't take care of our families." He said. When his chin was tilted up, he growled before spitting in Ashura's face. "Get your fucking hands off me...."

Ashura smiled, the saliva sizzled and disappeared in a cloud of steam, and just for a very brief moment, Kazuki would have felt he was sitting on a bed of hot coals. "I forgot to mention, Asurans are fire demons."

"Jobs are important, I understand the concept. What confuses me is how much your compassionate society rips other humans off for the sake of its own gain. The larger human groups seem to eat the smaller ones like any fight between predators. This is your compassion?"

He petted Kazuki's hair infuriatingly. "Would you like to get down?"

Kazuki's eyes widened a bit before he whimpered as his back started to heat up. Struggling against him, he whimpered a bit before wincing when his hair was pet. "Of course I would. And you better not drop me..."

"Ah, dropping you would be the fastest way," Ashura concurred. He then leaped off the tree, landing impossibly well-balanced. He barely had to bend his knees at all. His robes flowed around him, black hair framing his body, making him look outlandish and regal.

He put Kazuki on his feet once they had landed. "It appears your friends don't intend to come for you."

Kazuki's eyebrow twitched. Was this guy for real? He would drop him? He let out a yelp as he jumped down, tensing up, he slowly relaxed as he was set down. "They probably don't realize i'm missing yet." He said softly.

"Then we shall need to spend a night together," Ashura said blithely. He made no pretense of what he meant either as he slid one hand over Kazuki's ass and patted it gently. "It has been a while since I have had a bed companion. Are you by any chance learned in the ways of sex?"

It was apparently that the Asuran King was having an amusing time out of all this, and whether Kazuki's answer was yes or no, he would continue to entertain himself.

"Fine, but i'm staying away from- YOU!" Kazuki yelped and blushed deeply as Ashura patted his ass. Turning quickly to face Ashura, Kazuki moved back quickly before tensing up hearing the question. "N-no..." Feeling his back press up against a tree, he shuddered a bit before he gulped. Was Ashura... Planning to do what he thought he was?

Ashura chuckled. He could easily glean what he needed out of the boy's head, but unlike his descendants, his powers were controllable, so he was not plagued by the curse of mind-reading or constantly craving blood. There was a power he could not control however, and that gave him some grief.

"Calm down," he said. "I helped you out of that trap, the least you could do is thank me. And I didn't kill you yet, that should mean you're safe until I choose to do so. Hmm?"
