.In the back on the van, Candice didn't panic about her new situation. It was far better then fighting with her parents, or having to pay for her rent, which at the moemnt, was quite difficult for her for she didn't have a job. So she suspected becoming a 'slave', as most people liked to call it, she would only have to do alot of housework... How hard could that be?.

.In her apartment she was alone, for when she finished highschool, all of her friends left her because they wanted to go to college, and because of her family situation, they didn't have the money. She also didn't hav ethe money when she moved out, because two weeks after she bought her own appartment, she lost her job, and hadn't bothered to find another one because that would take to much effort... And lucky her, she didn't quite have to anymore

While in the van, she grew tired. The ride was long. Falling asleep in the backseat of the vehical, she was awaken hours later; Slightly startled, Candice peered at the guards. "Hmmm...?" She mummbled, regaining her conciousness of the realworld. One of the guards just chuckled, "We're finally here." His rough voice said. "Oh," She responded, then got herself out of the van. Both of the guards clutched onto her arms, and lead her to the door. Where one of them let go of her frail forearm, adn knocked on the door. Candice was curious about what was going to happen next.

Sheek heard the knock and hauled his 6'11" frame out of his chair, outing his cigarrete and moving his long black hair out of his blue eyes.
 Sheek opened the door and looked down. He had already paid for the girl, so he twitched and pulled her in, waving the slavers off. "Candice. Sit. You are to follow a few simple rules. No leavng, no yelling, no being ditzy, no ordering me around. If you follow these I shall treat you as a human, not a piece of shit that no one needs." He took a sip of wine, standing over her. He glared at the door and it closed. He loved being a dhampir.

The moment the door open, her eyes were staring at his chest. Moving her chin up, it took awhile until she saw his face. She was flabergasted by how tall he was. She was only five foot, and he was almost two feet taller than her. When he pulled her into the house, and explained his rules, she believed they were simple enough, but once she got a whif of his cigarette smoke she started to cough. "Smoking's bad for you.." She whispered.

"If you're human," Sheek said. "Now. If you behave, you may call me my name, and I will call you yours. Misbehave and I am Master you are Slave. I will not tell you what punishments will be bestowed. You will have to try not to find out." It all depended on what she did. That would determine the punishment and its severity. He was not much one to hurt someone unless they deserved it.

Candice nodded, she still didn't enjoy the fact that he was smoking, but it was osmehting she would have to live with. "I guess with that.." She paused, and held out her hand, "Hi, I'm Candice." She giggled, ehr voice was as sweet as sugar. She smiled blissfully up at him, completely dismissing the hint he gave to her about not being human. She didn't usually pick up on subtlarity.

Sheek set down his drink and took her hand, which disappeared in his. He didn't shake it, he wasn't a dog. "Sheek." he said. "Hungry?" he knew she was. He did not release her hand.

Candice looked up at him shocked hwen he covered her hand slowly with his. He really was big. Then she shook off that look off of her face, and giggled, "Starved!" She exclaimed, "They dont really feed you there.. Funny huh?" She shrugged, trying to amke the best of the bad situation.

"No they do not." Sheek pulled Candice into the kitchen, turned around, and pulled her skirt down to where it was supposed to be, not up on the top of her thighs, and buttoned one more button so that her chest was covered. He did not tolerate that in his home. "Eat," he said, pointing at the fridge.

Candice looked at him in horror, "What are you doing?!" She almost shouted, but relaxed when she reliezed he was only pulling to down to her knee. She didn't know if he was just about to take advantage of her, and thank god he didn't. She pulled the behind her ear, and blush. "Sorry.." She told him, then went to hte fridge, pulling it open, and she grabbed an apple.

"No," Sheek said, rubbing his ear from her yelling, which he had told her not to do. "EAT. You are not going to starve yourself in my home. You are to eat something of sustenance."

She huffed, then put the apple back into the fridge, pulled out a jar of jam, and peanut butter. She then went to the cuboards, for some bread. Quickly she made herself a sandwich and put everything away. Raising her eyebrow at him, she laughed, "DId I tell you I couldn't cook?" She stuck her tongue out and started eating.

Sheek's brow raised when Candice stuck out her tongue. He did not want nor tolerate children. He picked up a steak knife, walked over to her holding it where Candice could not see it, and grabbed her face when she was done. He held her still with his mind and pulled her tongue out, placing the blade's serrated edge against it, near her cheek. "Do not ever do that again, unless you want the inability of speech." Sheek held it there and gently cut just a tiny bit into her tongue. "Never assume someone you don't know is safe, young lady. I could be a mass murderer who kills little girls like you." He put the knife away upon releasing her, and released his mental hold. "Now go get a shower before I make you regret living. And do not act as a child unless you wish to be treated as one, diapers, bottles and all."

Candice almost screamed the moment he had the blade up against her tongue, but thankfully, she kept it in. His voice sending chills down her spine, she shivered as he dug into her tongue. Her blood slowly coming out of the cut, but she kept still. Too afraid of him to move.. She has never actually been treated thsi way before. When he released her, she closed her mouth, and nodded to him. her face drenched in sweat. Darting her way up the stairs, she got into the bathroom, stripped down, and hopped into the shower.

Sheek watched her run with a smirk on his face. She would have manners if she was here, and that tongue had better be careful. He washed her dishes and lit a cigarette, sitting down and enjoying the sound of her frantic, yet slowing, heartbeat, which he could hear even downstairs as he was.

Once Candice got until the warm water, she let out a sigh of relief. It had been awhile since she had taken a shower, and this was almost perfect.. Almost. Due to the fact she almost got her tongue cut off by a crazed lunatic.. Btu she would keep what she does in check around him, she'll try not to mess up again. After washing herself off, she wrapped a towel around her body, and looked at her dirty clothes. She debated either putting htem on, or asking for somehting else.. Btu she had reason to believe him getting mad at her either way. Slowly, she creept down the stairs with a towel wrapped around her boyd, "Don'tbe mad..." She called out, "But I need clothes."

Sheek looked up and outed his cigarette.
 "Put your dirty clothes in the washer and wear this in the meantime," Sheek said, unbuttoning his shirt. "When they are clean, we will go shopping. I don't get mad over clothing. I get mad over immaturity," he said, throwing her the shirt. He looked at the black towel around her. "Keep that towel for yourself. Come with me and I will assign you your room. Behave and you can use it, not a chain outside. I don't want to have to put you in a collar like a dog, but will not hesitate. By the way. I am not a crazed lunatic, I am just strict and straightforward."

Candice knew he wasnt' going to get mad at her about lcohting, it was her going out in the towel that may of gotten him peeved. She was only trying to be careful. She didn't know why he had thrown his shirt at her, but she kept the towel around her body, she wasnt' going to put it on. So she meerly just kept it in her hand, and followed him, she then raised a brow at him, "I never said that, sir." She responded, and smiled softly.

"Put the shirt on, or I will hurt you," Sheek said cooly. "No. You didn't. You thought it in the shower." Sheek glanced back at her. "Your room." He pointed into a room.

Her eyes popped open at his treat, and she quicly moved the towel down to put on the shirt without him seeing anything. It was almost bigger than her whole body, but she kept the towel on her lower half. She smiled, then placed her hand on the doorknob, opening it solowly.

"I won't hurt you without due cause," Sheek said, bored. The room was huge and decorated in blacks, reds, golds, and whites. The bed was ornate and a canopy bed, and there was a small attached bathroom.
 "Be good and you get my old TV/DVD combo player."
