Shia kept her eyes down and used her free hand to move her hair to show where he'd bitten her and rubbed it lightly. "This.. You said living a 'new life' and being 'immortal' ...What does it mean for me? And what does it mean for Jakob..?"

Kai was still kind of confused, Kai started slowly as he said "Now you'll live forever just like Jakob will when he finishes his aging. And I guess we have a lot of time to get to know each other. Or I guess you could try to kill me and win your freedom.

She looked up to him. "Kill you..?" Shia looked at him unsure if he was serious or if it was just a joke but she asked another question before he could answer. "Will I.. Have to.. Feed..?"

Kai smiled as she questioned whether she could kill him or maybe if he was serious. Kai merely shrugged and said "Now you have a possiblity of being able to." Kai said simply enough and then to answer her other question he said "My house is stocked up on blood, unless you want to go on your first hunt?" Kai thought it would be a cool way to get to know her and for her to get oriented with her new strength.

She glanced down and shook her head. "..I don't think I'd want to do that.." She thought in the back of her mind hunting may just make her blood-thirsty and addicted to killing. It didn't sound like her but she didn't want to take a chance. She looked down to Jakob who was now sleeping in her arms.

Kai figured as much that she wouldn't want to go hunting, though he knew it was inevitable. She would have to feed soon, but with his fondness of her he couldn't let her suffer the thirst so he brought her several packs of virgin blood, side from blood from babies it was the best type of blood. Though, if you are going to have to learn to control your muscles through training that I can give you, otherwise your a danger to Jakob." Kai said rather neutrally.

Shia looked up to him, seeming a little nervous at first but slowly relaxed and nodded. "I understand.." It scared her to think she could be a danger to her baby, but she believed he would make sure she wouldn't accidently harm him. She sighed lightly and bowed her head, closing her eyes.
