sonik sat quietly in the back of the van as he was bumped around by the drivers over excesive use of the breaks. he swore that one of these time he's break his neck if he stopped so suddenly again, to make matters worse the slavers had found the need to shackle his arms behind him so as he slid about the van he had to really on his feet to stabalise himself and stop himself from slamming into anything.

it almost took 20 min's of driving to reach his new masters house and the driver still had to slamb the breaks on as he stopped. sonik heard them slam there doors shut then walk round to the back and open the rear doors. he quickly jumped out and looked around. it was a nice large house with a well kept garden amongst other things. he walked silently with the slavers as they rang the doorbelland awaited a answer

Valentine silently waited for his delivery, he was suppose to arrive today. He hmphed lightly as he glanced at the clock. Darien hated tardiness, it was rude to keep someone waiting. He stood and walked through the main part of his house again, making sure everything was neat and clean. He lived alone in a huge part, however, only a small part was lived in, the rest was for storage and for guest when they came to stay. Once every month, he hired a crew of maids to dust and clean the rest of the house, otherwise the main part was taking care of by him. Valentine took to heart the saying, 'if you want something done do it yourself.'
He stopped by a window and saw the van stop outside. Darien headed downstairs to the entrance of his house, answering the door. "Hello." he greet politely yet simply as he looked at the men and the slave.

the slavers nuddged sonik forward slightly as the door opened and tone of them said "sorry for the delay eh" he looked over his documents on the clipboard he carried "Mr. Valentine but here's the slave you orderd. if you'd just sign, here, here and here and he's all yours" the man handed him the clipboard and pointed to the area's. and took it back off him when he was done, we walked behind sonik and took off the shakles around his wrists, then walked away with the rest of the slavers back to the van.

sonik slowly rubbed his wrists and greeted his new master "hello sir. my name is sonik. its a plesure to meet you" it almost sounded scrïpted but he found it the best way to greet a new master or mistress

valentine nodded softly in understanding and took the clipboard, signing where he needed to then returned the clipboard. "Nice to meet you as well, Sonik. I'm Darien Valentine and you can call me that if you like." he replied with a gentle smile, inviting him into the house. "So are you hungry or need anything?" he asked curiously, wondering if they had treated him well in the market.

"is valentine ok sir" he asked as he walked in when he was offer'd. valentine seemed like a nice guy tho sonik had meet others who had put on a nice face to gain trust then there other twisted side would show but he had a feeling he wouldnt be one of those. he nodded to valentines question "could i have some food please. they dont feed us much in the market,"

"Yes, Valentine is fine. Many call me that." he replied with a gentle smile, closing the door after Sonik entered the house. "Sure. Anything in particular you would like to eat?" Darien asked as he walked into the kitchen.

sonik followed behind him and shock his head as he asked "no, not really valentine. anythings better than just the bread iv been eating for the past few weeks" he looked around as he looked around the pristen kitchen. he had never seen one so well kept "is it ok if i ask valentine? but do you live alone here?"

"How about grilled chicken, grilled veggies, and a baked potato?" he asked wiht a gentle smile.Darien looked at him curiously as he asked if he could ask a question. "Yes, I do. About four times a year, I have a team of maids come in to clean the parts of the house that is less lived in." he answered honestly.

soniks mouth water'd at what valentine suggested and nodded his head egerlly. "that sounds so lovely. i havent had chicken in it feels so long" he thought on valentines answer to his question and thought he must be lonely. but thats sometimes why people bought slaves, not as pets or play things but to keep them company. "do you have any family or friends over?" he asked with a tilt of his head

Darien began cooking as he talked with Sonik, enjoying the conversation with another. "I don't have any family left. You see, the reason this house is so big is because it was the family home, housing many of us. I sometimes have parties." he answered with a gentle smile as he continued his cooking.

sonik looked down slightly worried he had brought up a bad memory for valentine "im sorry to hear that. ok just tell me before hand so i know when to call you mr. valentine" he could smell the food being cooked it almost smelt like heaven to him and he couldnt wait to sink his teeth into it

"It's alright and you don't have to call me Mister." he replied softly with a gentle smile. "Don't worry. It wouldn't too long for the food to cook." he told him, noticing how he was enjoying the smell of food so.

sonik nodded, then nodded with more entuseasem at his next comment. he looked around again then back to valentine "can i help with anything valentine?" he didnt want to be standing around doing nothing while food was made for him

"If you like you can set the table and pour the drinks." he answered with a gentle smile as he continued with the cooking.

sonik nodded and turned round, then looked about him to try and find the things he needed. he walked across and found the plates and came back setting them down on the table then went looking for cutlary and glasses. it didnt take him long to find the things then looked roung to valentine "what do you want to drink valentine. i dont know what you'd prefer yet" he asked as he stood infront of the well stocked fridge waiting on his masters reply.

"Tea." he answered with a gentle smile as he began finishing the meal then began serving it. Valentine neatly arranged everything, it looked delicious as if it had been ordered from a fancy resturant. "There we go." he said with a smile, then made sure everything was turned off before taking at seat at the table.

sonik nodded and walked over to a kettle he could see and turned it on. as it boiled he found the tea bags and suger "suger or milk" he asked. as he got his answer from him he sat the cup down before him then sat down himself and picked up his knife and fork,resisting the urge to just wolf down the scrumpcus food before him. he cut up a few peices of the food and ate it and smiled in delight at its taste. almost cooked to perfection. he smiled with delight at the taste and looked round to valentine "where you a pro chef valentine because this food tastes great"

"Neither. I like it plain." he answered with a gentle smile. "Thank you." Darien began quietly, cutting up his food and enjoying the meal. Valentine smiled and laughed lightly, "No. I'm actually a writer but in my free time I cook as well." he answered. "Do you like cooking, Sonik?" Darien asked curiously, enjoying conversation with another.

sonik thought about it before he answerd "kinda. i know a little about cooking and know how to make a few simple rescipes" he cut up more of his food and ate it. it was strange he had never talked like this with any of his other owners before and he was enjoying it.

He smiled and nodded softly in understanding. Darien continued to quietly eat his meal, enjoying the company of another. "What are some other things that you like?" he asked curiously.
